Sykora OK; Cooke Questionable

After returning to the lineup from a sore groin, Petr Sykora reported that he hasn't had any problems since playing against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday and practice at Southpointe yesterday.

"The groin felt good," he said. "It was a hard practice, too, and I went through it with no problem, so I'm very happy."
The same cannot be said today for Matt Cooke who did not practice yesterday. Although it's uncertain as to what the problem may be, it was reported it is some type of soreness involving the ribs / abdomen. Depending on his status at game time tonight, we may be seeing Bill Thomas or Paul Bissonnette get some icetime against the Capitals.
