New Jersey Devils - 2, Pittsburgh Penguins - 1
HEARTBREAKING
That's the word that clearly defines how I felt (as I'm sure alot of fans and the players felt) when the puck found the back of Pittsburgh's net after being shot off of Zack Parise's stick with only 37.6 seconds left in overtime.
Marc-Andre Fleury played an almost flawless game; looked about the best anyone has seen him play. Even with only playing a period or so of the game, Paul Steigerwald and Bob Errey were already saying he can now be placed among the group of elite goalies such as Martin Brodeur. So it was appropriate that coach Michel Therrien gave him the sole credit for the Penguins getting a point for last night's game against the New Jersey Devils and was named the number one star.
"Marc-Andre Fleury gave us a point tonight," head coach Michel Therrien said. "He's the only reason that we got a point."
