THANKS to Hooks Orpik of "The Sweater Ted" blog, I am now aware of a little something called The Stanley Keg (pictured left; YES - that IS Max Talbot)!!
Have you ever thought, "gee - that keg would look just like the Stanley Cup if I put a bowl on the top"? You wouldn't be the only one. In fact, there is a special tournament played by 8 teams of professional hockey players from around North America each summer. Dany Sabourin was the 2007 tournament MVP!
Still don't believe me? Here's the official Montreal Stanley Keg webpage!! And, yes, names from the players on the winning team have them "etched" into the Keg.
