With the start of the Pittsburgh Penguins main training camp, how did the prospects fair at their camp? I've come across and posted highlights from the three tournament games played this past weekend - Monday, but what were the actual results of where the players stand since the camp?
According to the WB/S Penguins Insider, the Penguins organization announced which players were invited to this week's NHL training camp and there are currently 51 players on the camp roster. Joey Haddad is the only free agent to receive an invitation (and may end up playing for the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins).
Jean-Michel Daoust, Tommy Goebel, and Elgin Reid have been assigned to the Wilkes-Barre and will be attending their camp beginning next week. Draft picks Jake Muzzin, Nathan Moon, and Patrick Killeen were returned to Juniors and Corey Cowick, Jason Legault, and Cedric Lalonde-McNichol were all released.
