Fedotenko to Make His Penguin Debut Tonight!

Ruslan Fedotenko will play in tonight's 2nd pre-season game for the Pittsburgh Penguins when they play against the Tampa Bay Lightning for the second time tonight at 7:30 PM. This time they'll be playing on the Bolts home ice at the St. Pete Times Forum. It will be the first time Fedotenko will wear a Penguins uniform for an official game.

Also in the lineup for tonight's game are forwards Janne Pesonen, Ryan Stone, Paul Bissonnette*, Max Talbot*, Jeff Taffe, Kris Beech, Adam Henrich*, Bill Thomas, Tyler Kennedy*, Eric Godard, and Aaron Boogaard*; defensemen Mark Eaton, Hal Gill*, Danny Richmond*, Kris Letang*, Deryk Engelland*, and Alex Goligoski. Fleury will be sitting out this game allowing Dany Sabourin and John Curry to take the reigns.

* denotes players who were not dressed for last Saturday's game (it appears that those players that have dressed for both pre-season games - Pesonen, Stone, Taffe, Beech, Thomas, and Godard - are forwards that are undoubtedly competing for a 4th line position).

As with the previous pre-season game, tonight's game will not be broadcast on TV or radio; there were be blog updates provided by Phil Bourque. There will be a pre- and post-game report as well as updates after the 1st and 2nd periods. Tune in to the Penguins webpage for this podcast.

EN
posted that the reasoning given to them for pre-season games not being televised is due to the lack of advertising revenue (which could also explain the reason behind the "skimpy" promotions this year) - it looks like money is tight for everyone.
