The alternate jersey has become quite popular and team officials have noticed a larger sea of light blue amongst the arena crowd, but according to Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review who spoke to Pittsburgh Penguins president David Morehouse last week, the organization does not currently have any plans to make the Penguins original blues & white colors permanent.
