All-Star Voting Still Making News!

Well, it doesn't look like the NHL is going to correct the fraudulent votes cast by the Montreal Canadiens fans javascript since they are still outrageously ahead of all the other players in the Eastern Conference (except that Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are quickly closing in on them which is great news)!!

But here's what a Habs newspaper blog has to say about it:

We've never been the biggest fan of the popularity contest that is the All-Star Game, but it is what it is. If the NHL is going to encourage fans to stuff the ballot box, why not do it for the team that will host the event?
Great - they condone ballot stuffing! The NHL encourages cheating? I don't know about that! And why not do it for the team that will host the event? And I don't know about this either -- I don't remember fans from any other host team feeling the need to cheat!! But whatever!

Did anyone notice the amount of Detroits votes? It appears to me that they could've made use of a javascript prior to the NHL's investigation because their totals are also curiously large as well!

I continue to vote; however, this all means nothing if the NHL keeps the votes that were cast prior to their placing a verification system on the voting site! We must remain diligent in contacting the NHL to let them know how we feel about their keeping these votes! This is absolutely ridiculous!

Let you voice be heard -- not just Pens fans, but ALL hockey fans regardless of who your allegiance lies with!!

I forgot to mention the other day, that they have actually redone the word verification 2x (for sure) and I'm not sure about a possible 3rd time.
