I DON'T Mean to Beat a Dead Horse, BUT --

Here's FURTHER information on the 2008-2009 NHL schedules to clarify the information we posted yesterday (it appears that everyone is correct if you read the blog entry below - courtesy of The Sabres Edge Blog from The Buffalo News). It would seem that we may get some information tomorrow if the Penguins organization decide to do so, but the schedules in their entirety are to be released Thursday at NOON!

HOWEVER, please realize that until they actually come out -- this all is merely speculation (and FUN for all of us to read / find out)!!

The skinny on the schedule

With lots of chatter all over the Internet about when the 2008-09 NHL schedule will be released, here is the latest word from the Sabres:

1). The current plan is for the full NHL schedule to be released Thursday at noon.

2). [this is the part that looks to be up to the individual organizations] There may be a couple small pieces released Wednesday. Several outlets are reporting that teams are going to be given the go-ahead to announce their openers and perhaps a couple of other key games but the full schedule will still be held to Thursday while it's finalized.

So get your pens and your road maps ready. It looks like Thursday at noon.
