The 2008 ESPY's are set to air Sunday, July 20, 2008 @ 9:00 PM on ESPN (and ESPN HD).
BOTH Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have been nominated for "Best NHL Player" along side Alexander Ovechkin, Jarome Iginla, and Pavel Datsyuk.
ALSO NOMINATED:
- Pittsburgh Penguins Team for "Best Finish" (for their 4-3 win over the Detroit Redwings in 3-OT)
- Sidney Crosby for "HUMMER LIKE NOTHING ELSE Award" (for his game-winning shoot-out goal during the 2008 Winter Classic game against Buffalo)
