- Right wing Marian Hossa’s decision to sign a one-year deal with the Detroit Red Wings did not help the Penguins’ pursuit of former start Jaromir Jagr. We’ve been told the Penguins are interested in Jagr, but they believe New York will now make an aggressive attempt to retain Jagr, its captain.
- The Penguins are not optimistic of landing Jagr.
This is becoming a very productive day, isn't it [for OTHER TEAMS!]?!!
Where have all our players / opportunities gone? I knew the Pens would look different going into next season, but will we recognize them at all? I fear that we've given up too much already; but thick or thin I will ALWAYS REMAIN a true Pens fan (no matter how dumb management / ownership looks)!
I guess they really don't mind if it's a good 5 years before we have our next good chance at the Cup (maybe this year's run just wore them all out -- counting their money or something)!
