According to Stan on "Savran on Sportsbeat" tonight, Petr Sykora returned to practice today after being sick with a sore throat and should be ready to play in tomorrow's final exhibition game against Jokerit.
Stan also mentioned that Max Talbot did not practice today and will not be playing in tomorrow's exhibition game because of a bruised leg.
OH - and Stan doesn't think Pesonen will make the NHL roster. I love Stan and usually consider what he says "gospel," but I don't think he's right in this instance. Does he really think that they'd choose Bissonnette over Pesi? How many goals does Bissonnette have compared to Pesonen - how about assists? Perhaps he's not so up-to-date on his information on the Pens currently so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt (let's hope he's wrong)!! Or maybe I'm wrong - that's a possibility too.

Steph, Kevin from Pesonen and the Pens here, I hope that the cowardly lion looking M F er is totally wrong on the Pessi call. He is still sour that he was passed up for the latest role of the modern day wizard of oz. Whatever happens on Friday we will have to deal with.
