The Penguins announced today that they signed Wade Brookbank and Wyatt Smith to one-year contracts.
Both players have spent time in the Norfolk AHL (Smith also played for the San Antonio AHL).
Brookbank also played with the WB / S Baby Pens during the 2006-2007 season and also got some playing time in the NHL with the Carolina Hurricanes playing a total of 27 games last season (2008-2009).
