CONFIRMED - Crosby Celebrates with Lord Stanley on His Birthday

There have been several reports speculating that Sid would be celebrating his 22nd birthday with the Cup; however, it has now been confirmed and further information has been released by both the Chronicle Herald and CBC.ca that Sid will have and celebrate with the Cup on Friday, August 7th.

"People from home have been so supportive of me since I was a youngster playing at Cole Harbour Place. I want as many people as possible to be part of this day," he said in a release Tuesday.

A parade and "question-and-answer" session where fans can get their pictures taken with Sid and the Cup along with various other events are planned throughout the day. The celebration begins with the parade at 2:30 PM and will end with a concert later in the evening.

What a fitting way for Sid to celebrate both his birthday AND winning the Stanley Cup!!
