Cup to be at the Black and Gold Game

The Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Baby Pens webpage announced that the Stanley Cup will be making an appearance at this year's Pittsburgh Penguins Black and Gold Game on Thursday, September 17th. And unless you are a season-ticket holder (or planning to purchase a five-game, 12-game, 22-game or the full season ticket plan), don't expect to purchase tickets to this game so easily. Those fans purchasing a ticket plan by August 17th will be the only ones guaranteed a seat to the game and able to view a piece of hockey history.
The Cup will be on display at the Wachovia Arena prior to the Black and Gold Game, at which time fans holding tickets to the contest can take photos with the trophy free of charge. Actual display times will be announced at a later date, and ONLY fans with tickets to the Black and Gold Game will be admitted.
