Yesterday, July 21st, was Jordan Staal's day with Lord Stanley. It actually started on Monday evening when he got the Cup from hockey officials.
It was a full day that started out with a trip to Thunder Bay Regional Health Services Centre, a local hospital, and then onto Fort William Gardens to sign autographs and take photos with close to 2,000 adoring fans for nearly 2 hours (it was noted that Jordan's dad, Henry, played a big roll in helping the city of Thunder Bay to plan the celebration).
Later that evening he made an appearance with the Cup at the Port Arthur Stadium for the Northwoods League all-star game to throw out the first pitch.
NEW DATES I CAME ACROSS:
July 25th - Matt Cooke (Belleville, CANADA)
July 26th - Mike Zigomanis (Markham, CANADA)
