[UPDATE #2] Pre-Game Notes (Pittsburgh VS Philadelphia)

MIKE YEO
Yeo did get back to Pittsburgh yesterday and returned to the team today, but his responsibilities will be limited to slowly ease him back into it, so he wasn't on the ice this morning and he won't be behind the bench tonight. He's doing "desk work," so to speak.
"Mike Yeo is back with us," Bylsma acknowledged. "In Florida he had a stress test and everything was negative. He’s back and we’re easing him back in to his responsibilities. He was here this morning, working. He was happy to be seen and the guys were happy to see him back at his desk working on video."
[UPDATE] SERGEI GONCHAR
this will be a game time decision and we won't know until then!!

Gonchar's return for tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers looks likely, but nothing has been confirmed yet; I'll keep you posted

[UPDATE #2] RUSLAN FEDOTENKO / MAX TALBOT
the Penguins webpage reported that both Tenks and Talbot were on the ice for this morning's skate and that they'll be "available" for tonight's game

it's unclear as to whether or not yesterday's "maintenance day" for Fedotenko and Talbot were just that or if injuries are plaguing them and will sit out of tonight's game; nothing yet on that either, so I'll update you on it as soon as I read something

[CORRECTION] BRENT JOHNSON MARC-ANDRE FLEURY
Fleury will be in goal for tonight's game and not back-up, Brent Johnson ... the Penguins webpage must've just copied the line-up from last game

it appears that Johnson will get the nod for tonight's game; GREAT back-up ... he's been on fire and really fun to watch (says he's finally got his rhythm which is a good thing for the Pens!)

LINE COMBINATIONS (projected)
Dupuis-Crosby-Guerin
Caputi-Malkin-Fedotenko
Cooke-Staal-Kennedy
Rupp-Adams-Godard

Letang-Orpik
Eaton-Goligoski
McKee-Skoula

COLLECTION FOR THE "FALLEN HEROES FUND"
the Penguins will be taking a collection tonight benefitting the "Fallen Heroes Fund" of the Penn Hills Police Department:

On Dec. 6, Penn Hills Police Officer Michael Crawshaw was killed in the line of duty while responding to a disturbance call. The Penn Hills Police created the fund to honor the memory of Officer Crawshaw by providing financial aid for a graduating Penn Hills High School student majoring in social work or psychology, and to provide funding for other non-profit associations.

Penn Hills Police Officers, Penguins employees and members of the Penguins Booster Club will be collecting at the gates before Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. game. All money collected will go directly to the Fallen Heroes Fund.

The Penn Hills Police also have created a website,
www.pennhillspolicefallenheroesfund.org, where they will be selling memorial t-shirts, stickers and wrist bands to support the cause.
LIVE ACTION
I will be at the Igloo tonight for the game ... I'm pretty excited and hoping to see some fights - they're usually really good games when the Pens play the Cryers (as well as wanting the snow storm to hold off until we get back later tonight!)!!

Philadelphia Injury / Line Info
Ray Emery (G), abdominal surgery - has missed 15 straight games but could be back by the weekend
Ryan Parent (D), back injury - day-to-day
