Will YOU Be Celebrating "the Kid's" Birthday Today?

There are ALOT of die-hard Pens fans out there and I KNOW there are just as many die-hard Sidney Crosby fans, so how many of you are going to be celebrating Sid's day today?

Are you one of the fans that would like to celebrate but don't know how? Here are a few fun (and unique) ways that I found while browsing through the various Pens sites / blogs on my lunch break:

• Puck Daddy interviewed Crystal of "Crystal's Restaurant and Lounge" located in Pittsburgh's "Strip District" who told him of today's "Sid-friendly" specials she'll be having "on tap." If you're like Sid, then you'll want to be sure to be there today for 21-cent Jack Daniels shots (YES -- she told Greg she will honor her word)!!
• The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review posted a few Penguins- / Sidney- / hockey-related concoctions (by way of name only) they found on WebTender.com to tickle your tastebuds -- The Penguin, Penalty Shot, Backup Goalie, Canada Dream, The Captain's Martini, Iceberg, Shoot, and Sid's Special; and they're even nice enough to list those drinks fans should steer clear of (if any of these make your senses tingle or peak your curiousity, head over the Trib to see how to mix up these magic potions yourself)!!
• And, as mentioned in a post earlier this week, if you fancy yourself as a Crosby look-alike then head over to the Carson City Saloon where they're holding a contest at 10 PM this evening for a chance to win $100; and from 10 PM - 1 AM, to commemorate this occasion, drafts will be 87-cents and "You Call It" drinks will be $2.25!!
