April 23, 1997Mario Lemieux scores on his final shot at the Civic Arena against the Flyers in the playoffs. The crowd began chanting for Lemieux with 5 minutes remaining and came to its feet with 2:09 to play after a Lemieux video montage was shown on the jumbotron scoreboard. With a little over a minute to go, Lemieux broke in alone on Garth Snow and scored his final goal.
