The Pens win in the opening game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Toronto Maple Leafs by a score of 2-0 (the Maple Leafs go on to win the series in six games); Tom Barrasso made 20 saves and it was his sixth, and final, post-season shutout with the Pens.
