We'll be playing the Carolina Hurricanes in Round 3 for the Eastern Conference Final. Versus announced that this round will begin on Monday, May 18th; however, talk on KDKA tonight mentioned that the Bruce Springstein concert is scheduled on Tuesday and a Mellon Arena employee advised them that it takes a full day before to set up for such a large event, so I'm assuming that could change.
The Canes won with minutes remaining in the first overtime. Scott Walker scored his first goal of the playoffs with the game-winner!!!
BOTH #1 seeds have now been eliminated in each conference.
