Yesterday, the NHL announced the finalists for the Lester B. Pearson Award which as the same three finalists up for the Hart Trophy - Evgeni Malkin, Alex Ovechkin, and Pavel Datsyuk.The Pearson Award is given to the league’s “most outstanding player” as picked by fellow NHL players.
The winner will be announced June 18th at the NHL Awards Show in Las Vegas.
