I came across another Penguins trade rumor on HockeyBuzz.com.I realize Eklund's track record is as consistent and reliable as the Pens right now and is viewed pretty much as a joke in the hockey world, but I would be remiss if I didn't post the things I find interesting and would like to share with my readers - true, false, hilarious, ridiculous, or otherwise!
Rumor is the Predators are talking to the Flyers, Bruins, and Penguins in search for offensive help. (and no, I don't mean objectionable...) One name that I am hearing is Sykora...I have heard the Pens have an interest in Zanon plus prospects. Could make some sense.Yeah, it could make some sense IF the Penguins didn't need wingers and have an excess of defensemen. The only part of this rumor that could possibly be true is that the Predators are searching for offensive help and would be interested in Sykora (who wouldn't be?).

If we loose many more games the Penguins will be selling free agents like Sykora off at the trade deadline for prospects. I really hope it doesnt come to that but it is a possibility. But i would agree with you at this point and time it makes no sense to trade our only scoring winger.
I'm thinking this is like the "Vinny's going to MTL" and the "St Louis is going to the Stars" ideas.
Not gonna happen.
