I mentioned in a previous post that the Penguins Experience blog was forming a boycott of the 2009 NHL All-Star Game due to the recent controversy with the fraudulent voting "procedures" of some Canadien fans. Since that time, the movement has gained quite a following and they have decided to create an entire "subsite" dedicated to the boycott which they launched yesterday at Boycott.PenguinsExperience.com.
They've included some neat buttons / banners you can use on your own webpage, blog, Facebook, etc., so be sure to check it out and support the cause!!Also, the best way to influence the NHL regarding this situation is to get the word out. Negative PR is the last thing the NHL needs right now, so spreading the word about the boycott could cause the league to take another look at this situation to avoid looking bad. Please continue to invite others to join this group and support the boycott. Together we really can make a difference.
