According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Brent Johnson "tweaked a knee midway through the second period on a collision with Toronto center Tyler Bozak" after he stopped his shot.
Johnson finished the period, but Curry had to finish the game in the third as Johnson did not return.
"We will see (about Johnson's status)," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said. "It was more precautionary than anything."Last season, Johnson had hip surgery, which kept him out for the rest of the season for the Washington Capitals.
