Watch the Announcement of 2010 Men's Team Canada Roster LIVE


Canada's Pride: The Selection Of The Men's Olympic Hockey Team will be broadcast live on Wednesday, December 30th at Noon (est).
"The announcement of the men's hockey roster for Vancouver 2010 will be a galvanizing moment for all Canadians to share and experience together," said Keith Pelley, President, Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium.
It will be broadcast exclusively on CTV, TSN, Rogers Sportsnet, OLN, OMNI, APTN, ATN, /A\, CTV News Channel, CP24, CP24 and NHL Network (french coverage on exclusively on RDS and RIS Info Sports). The announcement will also air live on the radio on THE FAN 590 Toronto, The FAN 960 Calgary and Corus Quebec's CKAC Sports.

Live streams will be available on the internet at CTVOlympics.ca and RDSOlympiques.ca (in French). THANK GOD for the internet, eh?!!!

ADDITIONAL NOTE: it was previously reported that the roster for Team USA will be announced during the Winter Classic "festivies" at Fenway Park on January 1st.

Oh, man. I am *so* glad I've learned something about hockey, because Beloved's Russian-Canadian relatives in Ontario are all kinds of excited about the Olympics and the World Juniors. I advocated for both Fleury and Staal like a good Pens fan. I know what they'll all be watching on the 30th.

Hey, you wonder if Crosby will make the cut? ;-)

@CrackerLilo -- I'm actually really excited about the Olympics this year too (it'll be interesting to see all the guys playing against each other)! I'm positive all Canadians will be watching the same thing on the 30th (I probably will too if I can pull it off at work!)!! ; )
