Sunday Day-Off for Malkin & Staal While Today Talbot Practices!

From the Penguins webpage --

The Penguins had a Sunday-morning practice yesterday with every player participating except for Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal. Dan Bylsma explained their absence to the media:

"Just bumps and bruises, a maintenance day, expect both of them to be on the ice (Monday)," Bylsma said. "That’s how we treat it today. There’s two days between games. Today was going to be hard for the short duration we were on the ice. Anybody that had an injury that didn’t need to be skating hard stayed off. It was just maintenance."
Today's practice was an exciting one as a familiar face returned to the ice to practice (donning a red, "no contact" jersey of course!) - Max Talbot. It was special because even though he has been skating on his own since September 29th, he actually participated in some of the work with the rest of the team today.
