Let's hope! That's all Pens fans have been doing these days - HOPING (and waiting - patiently).
The only new and interesting speculation I came across today was from The Insider on Pittsburgh Sports who reported:
- Pittsburgh was expected to make official 2-year offers to Laraque and Ruutu today (FINALLY some word on Ruutu)!! They also made mention of Shero talking with agents for Pascal Dupuis and Adam Hall. According to TIOPS, "The intentions of all four players should be known by Sunday."
- TIOPS sources indicate that Laraque will resign and Brooks Orpik will test free agency on July 1st even though talks with him / his agent continue.
- Shero, like alot of Pens fans, has not given up on Hossa's return to Pittsburgh! "The Penguins believe they have dictated the market ..."
I'm hoping by the end of this weekend Pens nation will be a lot happier and relieved with some word on signing some UFA (RUUTU!)!!
