The [Penguins] tickets remaining after they have been offered to the Season Ticket holders / Suite holders (who will be receiving letters from the organization shortly) and a block set aside for area youth hockey organizations, will be offered to members on the Season Ticket waiting list by way of lottery.
Keep in mind that the NHL as well as the Washington Capitals (and from what I'm hearing / reading, the Pittsburgh Steelers) will have their own allotment of tickets).
Whatever is left after all is said and done, will be sold to the general public also by way of lottery. Information regarding will be released sometime in October or November.
