It's official now according to the official Pittsburgh Penguins webpage, Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The Penguins have signed forwards Kris Beech, Bill Thomas, and Ryan Stone. All three agreed to a 1-year contract. As previously posted, Thomas is a Pittsburgh native who attended Fox Chapel High School and is the only player that does not have prior association with the Penguins.Both Beech and Stone played with the Penguins last season. Beech off of waivers from the Columbus Blue Jackets last January and played 5 games before being side-lined by a broken wrist. Stone played 6 games with the Penguins but spent the majority of last season with the Baby Pens in Wilkes Barre / Scranton.

Thomas played 7 games with the Phoenix Coyotes but the majority of last season he spent playing for the AHL's San Antonio Rampage.
