Today is Brooks Orpik's day with the Stanley Cup and he chose to use part of it to raise money for charity at his alma mater, Boston College.It was at the campus' "Shea Room" of the Conte Forum from 11 AM to 1 PM this afternoon, but Orpik stayed for over 2-1/2 hours to sign autographs and take pictures for an estimated number of 400 fans.
A donation of $5 to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of America was requested for an autograph and / or picture with the Stanley Cup (and Orpik).
I'm hoping to get a first-hand account / more pictures of the visit from a reader who was there this afternoon, so check back later!!
