Curry, Thiessen Honored for Role in 8-0 Record

The AHL announced Monday that Baby Pens netminders John Curry and Brad Thiessen are co-winners of the Reebok/AHL Goaltender of the Month away for October.

Curry and Thiessen split goaltending duties evenly at 4 starts each and their combined efforts helped the Pens to perfect record in October of 8-0.

To honor their achievement, Curry and Thiessen will be presented with etched crystal awards prior to an upcoming Penguins home game.

Congrats to both John Curry and Brad Thiessen. Keep up the great work guys!
